JDBA provided architectural design services for
recreational facility improvements including a new boat house, lifeguard
operations office, comfort station renovations, accessibility and site
improvements. The building areas totaled 5,270 square feet. The owner
program included a requirement that the buildings be sympathetic to the surroundings and
blending architecturally with the existing structures. For one
building addition, JDBA matched the existing river rock exterior to give a seamless
appearance.
