JDBA designed modernization and provided construction
administration services for general site and building improvements to Banyan, Cypress, and
Maple Elementary Schools for Conejo Valley Unified School District. The
three schools, originally constructed in the 1960s, are located in a
residential area of Newbury Park, near Thousand Oaks, California. The
projects were challenged with scheduling issues associated with the need to
complete construction without interrupting school operations. JDBA helped the District
manage, through combining two of the campuses into a single construction
contract, proactive planning for construction phasing.
